wel have you tried looking on different websites of tattoos,or otherwise try roughly sketching what you want.then when you go
the tattooist should fine tune your design for you.and as for where,well it all depends on what size you want,and how much detail,because smaller tattoos cant get too much detail in.

I know how you feel. I want a tattoo on my lower back and i want either a 13 or a Pentagram. I just can't figure out how to draw it...'cause I can't draw. I know that if i get the 13, I want it like gangsta'style,but outlined instead of filled in and if I get the Pentagram, I want just simple lines.

I just stuck on a really awesome "just add water" temporary tattoo on the back of my left hand.
It's ninja turtles and I found it on the floor and it is awesome.

i agree with JIM, all of my tattoos were designs i drew and he perfected them and stuck um on me.

thats sweet i want to get a tattoo on my forarm would that hurt more or less than one kinda going down my spine?

that would hurt a lot less, anywhere near a bone, especially joints, hurts like a mofo
