If you think top of ear hurt... It takes about 6 months for belly button to heal if you don't infect it or tear it. If you have no tolerance for pain. Stop gettting them to be trendy! They are commitments of self expression Takin out rings cuz they hurt is insult to Artists. It a Sign of weakness....

Yes, it's nice to have that moral support. It's ironic that she was the one who wanted to go but I am the one who still has the piercing...
Same goes for tattoos. I am a big baby and my husband was there to hold my hand. It was something I did for myself at a difficult time in my life. And he was there to support me all the way.

Well, at the risk of getting my head chewed off (like I did when I gave this advice to another young girl who asked the same question)... A tattoo is something that you will (most likely) have for the rest of your life. IF you are going to get one it should stand for something or have a special meaning to you. Just think about this - Do you think that you will care for the same things at 30 as you do at 15? What about at 45, or 60? See what I'm trying to say? You may love skulls with knives through their eyes (just an example) but do you think that you'll be happy with that when you're my age and your grandchild says grandma why do you have that? All I'm trying to say is make sure that you really want something before you get it or you might not be as happy about it in the future.
And if you're wondering, I do have one tattoo. It's on my lower back - and I was in my late 40's when I got it. (You can see it on my homepage in one of the albums) I got it at a tough time in my life and it does have special meaning to me. It isn't finished though. I want to add my grandkids names on stars or clouds or something - haven't decided yet... But that would make it have even more meaning than it does now....

LMAO. I know...it's the same thing my mom says to me. I'm not going to bite your head off because my mudder ingrained it into my head. As for the design...I'll announce when I'm ready...not anytime soon I hope...:P

Well that sounds fair enough. And that gives you plenty of time to decide what you want; or if you really want one. My suggestion to you is to have her go with you if you do. Maybe I'm a big baby, but tears ran down my face during the whole process and I was happy my husband was there for moral support.

Just don't be in a big hurry. I've found that the time you usually find what you really want is when you aren't looking for it. I don't envy you having to date and have relationships nowadays. It would be kind of scary for me to try to find my soulmate in today's world. Whatever you do, just make sure that you are careful. Like you said, it's hard to find a nice, trustworthy person. But it's definitely worth taking things slow to make sure that the person you do find will meet those qualifications...

Well, I am hoping to go to the Nascar race in Atlanta this coming weekend; and in April there is a Bike Fest in Florida. It's near where my father lives, so I want to visit and maybe check out the motorcycle goings on too... I don't lead a very exciting life I'm afraid.

NASCAR...interesting. I want to go see the Kentucky Derby...lmao...mmm...motercycles. I don't want a Harley...I want a racing one...maybe Ducati.

Yeah, my husband has a Harley & I ride with him. I tried driving my grandson's motorcycle once and wiped out big time, so my husband said no more driving, lol! A friend of ours' had a racing/sports bike and he had an accident. Broke his collarbone. His wife made him sell the thing.
We've never been to a horse race before. When we lived in Florida we went to the dog track a few times. That was interesting. Man can those grayhounds run!
Went and picked up a couple of clown fish this afternoon to put in our salt water tank. We had to start all over because all of the fish we bought at this one pet store died. Won't ever go back there again.
And that's about the extent of what we've been up to - like I said, we don't lead very exciting lives...

Yeah... I didn't get mine until I was 48 years old. And like you, it has a lot of meaning for me. As for piercings, My ears are done, and that's enough for me... I might add to my tattoo one of these days though...

Firstly... HEY SHARK!!! Hope all is well. I had my nipple done a while back... well, around 4 years ago. HOWEVER, I started dating this guy who was a bit older and he HATED it! So eventually, I felt guilted into taking it out. And now??? I'm not with him, so that kinda sucks... i miss it. Will I do it again??? not likely. But I am working on a new tat for my shoulder blade. It's going to be absolutely beautiful!
