Hallo. This is a great topic. Well knowing what is obvious could be very hard because we ignore many things that we are in but here you have wanted us to know exactly what we are.

The meaning of life is deeply mixed with philosophical and religious conceptions of existence, consciousness and happiness, and touches on many other issues such as symbolic meaning,ontology, value, purpose, ethics, good and evil, free will, conceptions of god, the existence of God, the soul and the afterlife.

Scientific contributions are more indirect; by describing the impirical facts about the universe, science provides some context and sets parameters for conversastions on related topics.

"What is the meaning of life?." The value of the question partaining to the purpose of life may be considered to be coincidal with achievement of ultimate reality, if that is believed by one to exist.

The Animism believers have their own version of the subject and stated as;
"It is the flash of a firefly in the night.
It is the breath of a buffalo in the winter time.
It is the little shadow which runs across the grass and loses itself in the sunset."

If only folks would stop looking at the negatives in their relations with each other and look at the positives (starting with families first), it would make for a tremendous turnaround in attitude.

As far as peace and no war is concerned, it is the leadership of a country which decides to be greedy and threaten/invade another nation. Then the invaded country has no alternative but to defend itself. There will be no more wars when everyone (especially the kings and tyrants) stops sinning against their neighbor and starts acting with love and compassion instead.

With regards to world peace, I always include it with my prayers. But I know it's not that easy to have it as long as our reigning leaders were so hungry for power.

It is indeed sad that many of us are so busy fretting about the things that we DON'T have that we forget to thank God for the things that we DO have (like family, living space, food, clothing, etc).

Instead of being happy that we have a spouse who loves and is faithful, some of us tend to find fault with many minor flaws they possess.

Instead of being thankful for a roof over our heads, we complain about not enough living space or the lack of an extra bathroom, or the color of our dwelling.

Instead of thanking God for food to keep us nourished and healthy, we gripe about the lack of variety, or the lack of special treats.

Instead of being thankful for clothes that protect us from the elements, we grumble about not having a larger wardrobe with fashionable items (like Jordache or Calvin Klein jeans).

The apostle Paul wrote:

"Not that I speak from want, for I have learned to be CONTENT in whatever circumstances I am."
