Meaning Of Life

It is indeed sad that many of us are so busy fretting about the things that we DON'T have that we forget to thank God for the things that we DO have (like family, living space, food, clothing, etc).

Instead of being happy that we have a spouse who loves and is faithful, some of us tend to find fault with many minor flaws they possess.

Instead of being thankful for a roof over our heads, we complain about not enough living space or the lack of an extra bathroom, or the color of our dwelling.

Instead of thanking God for food to keep us nourished and healthy, we gripe about the lack of variety, or the lack of special treats.

Instead of being thankful for clothes that protect us from the elements, we grumble about not having a larger wardrobe with fashionable items (like Jordache or Calvin Klein jeans).

The apostle Paul wrote:

"Not that I speak from want, for I have learned to be CONTENT in whatever circumstances I am."

Philippians 4:11 (New American Standard translation)

Material things was never an issue with me. I am so thankful and contented with everything I have.

It was just. . . I'm kind of . . suffocated.
I want space. . . i want to breath. . . i want freedom.

helping others is the real meaning of life.
