new D70s
I just got a new (well, new to me) Nikon D70 upgraded to version 2.0 software which apparently makes it equivalent to a D70s. I got it off eBay and probably paid a bit too much for it. However, it did come with a spiffy 40-200 Tamron lens.
I've found that even using the small picture size they're huge when I transfer them over to the computer. I have the menu set to fine so I'll get some good detail, but the smallest amount of real estate they take up is 1504x1000 pixels. Oh, well. I usually need to Photoshop them a bit anyway.
Plus, I like the 1 Gb card that I got with it. With the above settings I can get over a thousand shots on one card!
I have to say that I'm impressed with the battery life as well. A pretty darned good camera in my books.

Rizak, the D70s is a good DSLR for portraits and landscape shoots. But for action, the D70s AF system is not as fast as my Nikon F100. It is not as responsive, so I sold mine. AF tracking is a bit slow, especially in low light.
I recently upgraded to a D200 and never looked back.
