Is marriage a dying institution?

I guess it is..unfortunately..

And the few marriages that are happening are soon seeking divorce at the drop of a hat..

Well, the situation is yet not this scary as it appears (I'm not sure "scary" is the right word to use here). There are more success stories than failures in an average marriage.

Though the institution of marriage is not being accepted as successful because of the mindset of the generation.But the day is not very far,when the intention of the man changes again and the marriage will be considered as very important because the world is round.Both the traditions and fashions changes in circular way.

Hi krishnaswamy: I respect your feelings but it took more than 10000 years to complete the first cycle of this process. The system had its merits and demerits, but the good things prevailed for this long. The new trend has just begun. Can you guess how far it should go?

You are correct.It will not happen immediately but the future generations will realise the benefits of the marriage and important cultural values it has in our tradition.This may sound silly,but few of European countries hold our traditional values in high esteem.
