(re-occuring) NEW YEAR RESOLUTION

Just because I can't seem to find new words, writhing rhythm or rhymes to update my New Year's Resolution every year for the last forty five (45) years doesn't mean I'm boring.

Or does it? You tell me.

Does my LIFE really sound 'boring' to you?? Take a look ...

NEW YEAR RESOLUTION

The letdown Loves,
And Dreams demolished,
have filled my past with sorrow.
The wiser way,
with Love abolished,
shall be the course I'll follow.


No foolish Dreams,
with wilder notions,
as always I have hit on,
my broken Hearts,
and torn emotions,
now pain the part I sit on!


... A little later ...


( ... 'Tho on Love I sometimes sour ...
it seldom lasts more than an hour.)


My Dreams remain,
I love as ever,
the Heart still reigns supreme.
Seems wiser thoughts
can change me never,
and I shall always Love and Dream!
