How to capture water drop or water flash into photo shoots?
Hope it's not a stupid question. Had anyone done it before?

Freeze the water drops, that's what I want to know. Thx to explain everything in a clear and understandable way plus the little techniques where the professionals shared. Everything is so cool! I'll take them down into notes. This is the most precious Canon Photo School on the planet. :-D

I could make it closer, the detail is really good, i was really happy with this picture, and had a lot of fun taking it :) Meet my niece ;) I panned it out though so I could get the whole effect of it... I'm not home right now but when I get there I'll post the same pic with a bit more detail :) Glad you liked it :)

I shot this fountain in the hour before sunset in Tucson, Arizona:
http://www.photoshelter.com/c/selmanphotography/gallery-img-show?G_ID=G0000IX_XH5RmFgE&start=4&pagtotal=18
To accomplish it without flash the EXIF reads:
Aperture: f/16
Shutter: 1/100
Focal Length 105mm
ISO: 1600
I was aiming to capture the setting sun that was already off to the right in the water droplets.

If u r lucky enough to have a pro camera and a cool flash gun, you can set to 'high-frequency' or 'high speed' flash, which takes it out of the limited sync speed the camera imposes. This often uses as 'fill' flash in daylight. But it also helps to high light the water drops too! Use dark background will enhance the look and highlight the contrast of the drops :D
hope it's not too complicated. it's a trial and error. it's digital, what the hell... give it a go!
