That's actually a very difficult question to answer. Either way, it's a band who has revived and raped the corpse of some formerly fashionable form of music. For me, whichever band I happen to hear at the time would likely be the worse band.

i agree lol. MCR is far worse, but in terms of my musical taste nickelback's lyrics remind me of a white version of conforming gangstah rap. whatever happened to music being poetic and philisophical, having a meaning?

no way! i don't care if they're homosexual i just don't like their music.
i enjoy lots of hardcore bands, my favorite genre is melodic death. i also like metalcore, but i don't like the two mixed together.
i really enjoy folk and sea shanties specially if i know the lyrics.
and enjoy just about everything else. besides music with bullsh** lyrics and no melody.

they're just not my style, kind of depressive kind of whiney.
i like upbeat or energetic music. besides all my buddies would laugh at me if i listened to MCR.

although the lyrics are truly gagging, my main problem with nickelback is not that deep. I just hate the music. They could be quoting hamlet and i wouldnt be impressed. The melodies, the WAY he SINGS.............aggggggghhhh sounds like he's trying to do a really big sh*t.
